Process Execution Checklist

This tool used to track the steps necessary to make the inspection process most profitable.  A manager can use these checklists to observe Service Technicians, Parts Advisors, and Service Advisors as they carry out their specific duties in relationship to the inspection.


  • Determine which process will be observed and audited.
  • Observe the staff members executing the process steps.
  • Note on the checklist those items carried out adequately with a check mark.
  • Note on the checklist those items that were not carried out at all, mark these with a “X”
  • Note on the checklist those items that were not carried out adequately, mark these with a “?”

When time allows give feedback, coaching and encouragement to the employee where their steps were either missed or were not done in keeping with dealership standards.

Commit the employee to executing all steps at the highest possible level and with every customer time.
