Customer Reports - Additional Info (Good/Bad Part)

Additional Info Page

Use this article to learn more about customizing the Additional Info pages of your Customer Reports. For an example, see the attachment at the end of the article.

The Additional Information page provides information about the recommendations to help the vehicle owner better understand the reasons for the recommendations. It provides a short description of the

  • A short description of the recommended operation
  • The significance of the specific system
  • The advantages of having the repair completed
  • Comparison pictures of the good/bad part

for the recommended repair.

You have the option of including Additional Information pages for all recommendations or only recommended services that have been declined by the customer. To change this option, take the following steps:

  1. From EDGE, click Tools, Admin Options and select the Customer Reports tab.
  2. Select the report name from the list and click Edit to open the Customer Report Editor.
  3. Select the Recommended Services page from the Report Format panel on the right and click Edit Section to display the Additional Information Section Editor.
  4. Click the radio button to indicate your preference and click OK to save.
