Report - Quarter Time

Quarter Time Reports

 

There is a set of four reports to support the Quarter Time feature available with MSX.

Quarter Time (History) - Compares the failed recommendation approval rate when 1/4 Time is made to the approval rate when 1/4 time is missed. The history report shows month-over-month historical performance of the shop.

Quarter Time (SA) - Compares the failed recommendation approval rate when 1/4 Time is made to the approval rate when quarter time is missed at the advisor level. This report shows all advisors and allows drill down to the tech report to see the ROs for the selected advisor broken down by technician.

Quarter Time (Tech) - Compares the failed recommendation approval rate when 1/4 Time is made to the approve rate when quarter time is missed at the advisor level. It also shows average elapsed time to perform and inspection and deliver an estimate. This report shows all technicians and allows drill down to the RO report to see the ROs for the selected technician.

Quarter Time (RO) - Breaks down the amount of time between RO creation, inspection, and report delivery to facilitate discovering bottlenecks in the process. It also shows the amount of time allowed for 1/4 Time on each RO and whether that amount was extended by a user.

 

Column Definition

1/4 Time Actual Duration (Minutes) - Shows the number of minutes between the time the RO was created and a customer report was generated. Calculation: Sum of Time to Inspection (Minutes) and Time to Delivery (Minutes).

1/4 Time Failed recommendations - The number of failed recommendations made on repair orders with 1/4 Time.

1/4 Time Failed recommendations Approved % - The approval rate for failed recommendations on repair orders with 1/4 Time. Calculation: The number of approved failed recommendations on repair orders with 1/4 Time divided by the number of failed recommendations made on repair orders with 1/4 Time.

1/4 Time Made % - Percent of Closed ROs where a customer report was generated before the 1/4 Time clock expired. Calculation: Count of ROs where 1/4 Time was made / Total count of closed 1/4 Time ROs.

1/4 Time Made Failed recommendations - Shows the count of failed recommendations made on repair orders where 1/4 Time was made.

1/4 Time Made Failed recommendations Approved % - Shows the percentage of failed recommendations that were approved when 1/4 Time was made. Calculation: Count of approved failed recommendations on ROs where 1/4 Time was made divided by the count of total failed recommendations on all ROs with 1/4 Time.

1/4 Time Missed Failed recommendations - Shows the count of failed recommendations that were made on ROs where 1/4 Time was missed.

1/4 Time Missed Failed recommendations Approved % - Shows the percentage of failed recommendations that were approved when 1/4 Time was missed. Calculation:Count of approved failed recommendations on ROs where 1/4 Time was missed divided by the count of total failed recommendations on all ROs with 1/4 Time.

1/4 Time Schedule Manually Overridden - Shows "Yes" and highlighted in yellow if the 1/4 Time allowed with the package was extended or decreased by the user.

1/4 Time Scheduled Duration (Minutes) - Shows the number of 1/4 Time minutes originally associated with the inspection package when it was added to the RO or the number of minutes that 1/4 Time was extended to by a user manually overriding the original 1/4 Time.

1/4 Time Missed By (Minutes) - Shows the amount of time elapsed in minutes past the 1/4 Time for ROs that missed 1/4 Time. Calculation: Elapsed time in minutes (elapsed time=sum of time to inspection and time to delivery) minus the 1/4 Time Scheduled Duration. Note: this column may contain a negative value if the report was generated before the 1/4 Time Scheduled Duration elapsed.

1/4 Time Stopped - The date/time (i.e. MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM) the 1/4 Time clock was stopped by the generation of a customer report.

Average 1/4 Time Missed By (Minutes) - Shows the average amount of time elapsed in minutes past the 1/4 Time for ROs that missed 1/4 Time. Calculation: Sum of elapsed time in minutes (elapsed time=sum of time to inspection and time to delivery) for ROs where 1/4 Time was missed minus the 1/4 Time Scheduled Duration divided by the count of ROs where 1/4 Time was missed..

Average Time to Delivery (Minutes) - Shows the amount of time elapsed in minutes between the time the inspection was completed and the time a customer report was printed/emailed. Calculation: Customer report generated date/time minus inspection completed date/time divided by count of selected 1/4 Time ROs.

Average Time to Inspection (Minutes) - Shows the amount of time elapsed in minutes between the time the RO is opened and the time the inspection is completed. Calculation: Inspection completed date/time minus RO open date/time divided by count of selected 1/4 Time ROs.

Eligible Closed ROs - Total number of Closed ROs that have an inspection package with Quarter Time enabled and a report (either RIM or EDGE reports) has been generated (printed or emailed).

Mileage - The odometer reading on the vehicle.

Package - The name of the package that has the 1/4 Time value assigned to it that is bound to the repair order.

Package Completed - The date/time (i.e. MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM) the Inspection Package was marked completed in the EDGE system.

Package Created - The date/time (i.e. MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM) the Inspection Package was added to the Repair Order (RO) in the Dealer Management System (DMS) if tied to an op code or the date/time the Inspection Package was added to the RO in EDGE if it was added manually.

RO Created - The date/time (i.e. MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM) the Repair Order (RO) was created in the Dealer Management System (DMS).

RO Close Date - The date/time (i.e. MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM) the Repair Order (RO) was closed in the Dealer Management System (DMS).

RO Number - Repair Order (RO) number is the number assigned to the Repair Order by the Dealer Management System (DMS).

SA (Service Advisor) - The name of the service advisor assigned to the vehicle.

Tech (Technician) - The name of the technician assigned to the vehicle.

Time to Delivery (Minutes) - The amount of time elapsed in minutes between the time the inspection was marked completed and the time a customer report was generated.

Time to Inspection (Minutes) - The amount of time elapsed in minutes between the time the RO was created and the time the inspection was marked completed.
